Are you 15 minutes away from an award winner? Meet Entry Starter
You have done the work. Finding time to tell the story can be the harder part. Meet Entry Starter, our new AI-assisted tool to help you get started on your mentl awards entry in just 15 minutes.
Entries for the mentl awards 2026 close on 9 October. Set aside a short conversation today, on your own or with a colleague, and capture a starting point you can build on together.

A conversation can be easier than a blank page
“I haven’t got time.” “Have we really done enough?” If either thought sounds familiar, start with one piece of work rather than the whole submission. It could be a change to how your team works, a better way to offer support, or something you learned from listening to the people around you.
Entry Starter helps you talk through that experience. Choose your category, follow the prompts and record your answers or type your notes. It transcribes what you say so you can check your words and shape them under the criteria.
Your words. Your experience. Your entry. The tool does not write your submission, invent evidence or promise an award. The first 15 minutes are about getting started, not completing a finished entry.
How to start your mentl awards entry in 15 minutes
- Choose a time and a category. Put 15 minutes in the diary today. Invite a colleague who knows the work, or begin on your own.
- Talk through what happened. Use the prompts to explore the challenge, what you did, what changed and what you learned. You can type instead of recording.
- Check and build on your notes. Review the transcript, especially names and numbers. Keep the points that reflect your experience and note where you want to add evidence.
“At ___ today, we will spend 15 minutes talking about ___.”
A specific appointment makes the next step clear. You do not need perfect wording before you begin.
Keep shaping the entry with your team
Create a private shared link so colleagues can contribute to the same online entry from different locations. Keep that link to return to your work and continue developing it together.
You can also download your notes. A downloaded working copy is separate from the shared online entry, so changes to that file do not automatically update the online version. Use the shared link when you want everyone working on the same saved entry.

Already have a draft? Try Entry Studio
Entry Starter helps you capture ideas. Entry Studio helps you reflect on a draft you have already written.
The Studio offers supportive, AI-assisted feedback, reviewed by mentl before release. It highlights what comes through clearly and where a little more explanation or evidence could help. You decide what to develop, in your own words.
