Introducing the mentl Entry Studio: your work, your words, a fresh perspective
You know the work. You lived the challenges, saw the change and supported the people. Getting all of that across in an awards entry can still be difficult.
That is why we created the mentl Entry Studio: a free, optional way to get a fresh perspective on your mentl awards submission before the deadline.
Your work. Your words.
The Studio does not write your entry. It offers gentle suggestions about where your story, evidence or explanation could be clearer. You decide which suggestions are useful and make any changes yourself.
Perhaps your submission describes an activity beautifully but says little about what changed. Perhaps the impact is there, but the supporting evidence is difficult to find. Or perhaps you are so close to the work that something obvious to you needs a little more explanation for an outside reader.
The aim is to help you surface the strongest, clearest account of work you have already done.
What the feedback looks like
Your private report highlights what comes through clearly and suggests practical areas to strengthen. For example:

This is an illustrative example, not an assessment of a named entrant.
The approach is informed by learning from hundreds of past entries and judges’ comments. Feedback is AI-assisted and reviewed by mentl before it is shared with you.
How to use it
- Choose your category and prepare your draft. Start with the work and evidence you want to submit.
- Open the Studio and follow the upload instructions. Read the privacy notice and consent information before sharing your files.
- Keep your private feedback link. Your report is not available immediately: mentl reviews it before release, and you receive an email when it is ready.
- Read, reflect and choose your next steps. Make any changes yourself, then submit or update your official entry in Award Force.
Uploading to the Studio does not submit an awards entry. Your official submission must be completed through the awards platform before the deadline.
Free, optional and separate from judging
The Studio is available to all mentl awards entrants. There is no obligation to use it or to follow its suggestions. Judges do not see your private Studio feedback, and using the tool does not influence judging.
It does not award marks, predict a result or guarantee that an entry will be shortlisted. Entries are assessed independently against the relevant criteria. The free Studio is an additional preparation resource; normal entry fees still apply where applicable.
Keep private information private
Only upload material you are authorised to share. Avoid including unnecessary personal details or identifiable health information in your supporting evidence. The Studio privacy notice explains how information is used and handled.
