Cigna Healthcare is once again stepping up to champion mental well-being as the ‘Gold Sponsor’ of ‘the mentl awards 2024.’ Returning for a second year, Cigna Healthcare’s involvement underscores the company’s dedication to recognizing those leading the charge in mental health innovation across the GCC.

This year’s awards will be headlined by renowned therapist Marisa Peer and will see Leah Cotterill, Cigna Healthcare’s CEO for the Middle East and Africa (outside KSA), joining the esteemed panel of judges.

Leah Cotterill joins a prestigious lineup of judges from across the region, and internationally for  ‘the mentl awards 2024’. Among the inspiring group of leaders in mental health, business, and advocacy are Sir Ian Cheshire, Chair of King Charles III Charitable Fund and prominent business leader; Marisa Peer, world-renowned therapist and bestselling author; and Thomas Erikson, internationally acclaimed author of Surrounded By Idiots.

The 42-strong panel also includes distinguished figures such as Dr. Nahida Nayaz Ahmed, Chief Medical Officer at Sakina Mental Health and Wellbeing Services; Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President at Dubai Science Park; Dr. Khulood AlSayegh, Head of Policies & Standards at Dubai Health Authority; Azeem Rafiq, ex-England cricketer and mental health advocate; Kate Hardcastle MBE, known as “The Customer Whisperer,” a renowned broadcaster, consumer expert, and campaigner, Mark Colbourne MBE, Paralympic cycling champion and motivational speaker, and Manoj Narender Madnani, Chairman of Beacon Media and Managing Director, International for Mara Digital Holdings, is a leader in media and wellness, co-founding his company with the famed Deepak Chopra.

The panel is further strengthened by a diverse array of leaders, athletes, adventurers, mental health advocates, and innovators, each bringing their own unique perspective. From renowned broadcasters and campaigners to corporate well-being advisors and medical professionals, these inspiring individuals are united in their mission to recognize and champion mental health initiatives that are transforming communities and workplaces across the GCC.

Together, they will judge the initiatives and individuals making significant strides in mental health across the GCC.
